Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2026
SEMPITE (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the website sempite.com (also accessible via sempiternosolutions.com, which redirects here). This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and your rights regarding that information.
1. Information We Collect
Contact Form
When you submit the contact form we collect:
- Name and email address
- Company name (optional)
- Message content
Website Analytics
We run our own analytics system — no third-party tracking platforms. When you visit a page, our analytics script records:
- Page URL visited
- Referrer — the page or site you arrived from, if any
- Time on page in seconds
- Scroll depth — percentage of the page scrolled
- Screen resolution
- Country — derived from your IP address by Cloudflare; we store the country code only
- IP address — stored in our private analytics log
- Session identifier — a random ID stored in your browser’s sessionStorage (browser memory only, not a cookie, automatically deleted when you close the tab)
2. Categories of Personal Information (CCPA)
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), personal information we collect falls into the following categories:
| Category | Examples collected | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Identifiers | Name, email address, IP address, session identifier | Directly from you (contact form); automatically (analytics) |
| Internet or network activity | Pages visited, referrer, time on page, scroll depth | Automatically (analytics) |
| Geolocation data | Country (derived from IP) | Automatically via Cloudflare |
| Professional information | Company name | Directly from you (contact form, optional) |
3. How We Use Your Information
- Contact form data — used solely to respond to your enquiry
- Analytics data — used to understand site performance and improve content; never used for advertising, profiling, or cross-site tracking
We do not use personal information for any purpose other than those described above.
4. Sale and Sharing of Personal Information
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioural advertising. In the past 12 months we have not sold or shared any personal information as defined under the CCPA/CPRA.
5. Service Providers
We use the following service provider that may process personal information on our behalf:
- Cloudflare, Inc. — provides content delivery, DDoS protection, and traffic routing. Cloudflare processes IP addresses and request headers as a service provider under a data processing agreement. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
We do not have any other third-party service providers with access to personal information collected on this site.
6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We do not set tracking or advertising cookies. We use sessionStorage (browser memory) to store a random session identifier for analytics purposes — this is not a cookie and is automatically deleted when you close your browser tab.
Cloudflare may set security-related cookies (such as cf_clearance) as part of its bot-protection service. These are strictly necessary for the site to function and are set by Cloudflare, not by us.
7. Data Retention
- Contact form submissions — retained until your enquiry is resolved, then deleted periodically
- Analytics events — stored on our private server, capped at 20,000 events. When the cap is reached, the oldest entries are automatically removed (approximately 6–12 months of data at typical traffic levels)
8. Your Privacy Rights
California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights:
- Right to Know — You may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes, and any third parties with whom we have shared it.
- Right to Delete — You may request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to Correct — You may request that we correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
- Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing — We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of. If this changes, we will update this policy and provide an opt-out mechanism.
- Right to Non-Discrimination — We will not deny you services, charge you different prices, or provide a different quality of service because you exercised any of the rights above.
- Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information — We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by the CPRA (e.g. Social Security numbers, financial data, health information).
To submit a request, email us at [email protected] with the subject line “Privacy Request — California”. We will respond within 45 days. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request. You may designate an authorised agent to make a request on your behalf.
